The Hill School of Wilmington has opened a satellite location in southern New Hanover County to meet an increase in interest in its unique academic remediation program for students with specific learning differences.
The site, located at 4008 South College Road in Wilmington, includes three classrooms and accommodates up to 12 additional students. The students attend for three hours daily to receive direct instruction in reading, written language, and math. They attend a public, private, or home school for the other half of their day. Most students attending Hill South are enrolled at the adjacently located Cape Fear Academy.
Hill South students and teachers are excited about the opening of the new location.
